How To Make White Bean and Ham Hock Soup Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 pound ham hock
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cans cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

In a large pot, add ham hock, onion, garlic, carrots, celery, and chicken broth. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and let simmer for 1 hour.

Add cannellini beans, thyme, salt, and pepper to the pot. Simmer for another 30 minutes.

Remove ham hock from the pot and shred meat. Return meat to the pot.
