Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- Optional toppings: cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a medium bowl, mash kidney beans with a fork or potato masher.

Mix in breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, beaten egg, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Divide mixture into four equal parts, shaping each into a patty.

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add patties and cook until browned, about 5 minutes each side.

Transfer patties to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes.

Serve on a bun with optional toppings.
