How To Make Kidney Bean and Sausage Skillet Recipe
A protein-packed dish with the goodness of kidney beans and sausage cooked in a skillet.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb sausage, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Add sliced sausage and sauté until browned.

Add onion, garlic, and red bell pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.

Add smoked paprika and cumin powder. Mix well.

Add kidney beans and diced tomatoes. Mix again.

Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
