How To Make Sicilian-style Artichoke Hearts with Burrata

Ingredients
- 4 large artichoke hearts, cleaned and trimmed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 burrata balls
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté until fragrant.

Add artichoke hearts to the skillet and cook until lightly browned on both sides.

Pour in the white wine and let it cook for 2 minutes, until slightly reduced.

Add vegetable broth, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, until artichoke hearts are tender.

Transfer the artichoke hearts with sauce to an oven-safe dish. Place a burrata ball on top of each artichoke heart.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the burrata is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves.

Serve warm as an appetizer.
