- 8 jalapeños
- 1/2 pound ground sausage
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.

In a skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.

In a bowl, mix together the cooked sausage, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Spoon the sausage mixture into the jalapeño halves, filling them evenly.

Place the stuffed jalapeños on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and lightly golden.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
