- 8 jalapeno peppers
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup buttermilk
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions

Cut jalapenos into thin slices, discarding the stems and seeds.

In a shallow bowl, mix together flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Dip jalapeno slices in buttermilk, then coat them in the flour mixture.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).

Fry the coated jalapeno slices in batches for about 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
