- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 4 large potatoes, cut into fries
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
-
Preheat your grill or stovetop griddle.
-
Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties. Season with salt and pepper.
-
Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
-
Meanwhile, heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
-
In a bowl, mix together paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss the cut potatoes in the spice mixture until coated evenly.

Fry the potatoes in batches for about 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels.
-
Toast the burger buns on the grill or stovetop.
-
Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a slice of cheese, tomato, lettuce, onion, and a pickle. Add condiments of your choice.
-
Serve the burgers with the homemade fries on the side.
