- 8 cups of popped popcorn
- 1 cup of roasted peanuts
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of light corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the popped popcorn and peanuts.

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt until well combined.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then let it simmer for 5 minutes without stirring.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and quickly stir in the baking soda and vanilla extract. The mixture will foam up.

Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn and peanuts, stirring gently to coat evenly.

Transfer the coated popcorn onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading it out evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even baking and coating.
