How To Make Cheesy Leek & Bacon Puff

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 leek, thinly sliced
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface until it is approximately 1/4 inch thick.

  3. In a skillet, sauté the sliced leek until it becomes soft and slightly golden.

  4. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cooked leek, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  5. Spread the leek and bacon mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.

  6. Roll up the puff pastry tightly, starting from one of the long sides.

  7. Transfer the rolled puff pastry onto the prepared baking sheet and brush the top with milk.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and crispy.

  9. Allow the puff to cool slightly before slicing into individual portions.

  10. Serve warm and enjoy!
