Ingredients
- 2 cups of fresh spinach
- 1 cup of grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/4 cup of chopped onion
- 1/4 cup of chopped bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package of store-bought puff pastry
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the onion and bell pepper until they become translucent.

Add the spinach and cook until it wilts.

Remove from heat and let it cool.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 4 equal squares.

Divide the spinach mixture among the squares and top with grated cheese.

Fold the pastry squares in half diagonally and seal the edges by crimping with a fork.

Place the pasties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the pasties with beaten egg for a golden crust.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving.
