Ingredients
- 2 cups grated carrots
- 1 cup gram flour (besan)
- 1/4 cup rice flour
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine grated carrots, gram flour, rice flour, chopped onions, green chilies, cilantro, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well to form a thick batter.

Heat oil in a deep pan or kadhai for frying.

Take small portions of the carrot batter and drop them gently into the hot oil. Fry in batches until golden brown and crispy.

Remove the pakoras from oil using a slotted spoon and drain excess oil on a kitchen towel.

Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
