Ingredients
- 1 cup vermicelli
- 4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 10-12 cashews
- 10-12 raisins
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- 1 teaspoon crushed cardamom
- 1 tablespoon chopped almonds (optional)
Instructions

Heat ghee in a pan, add cashews and raisins. Fry until golden brown. Set aside.

In the same pan, add vermicelli and roast until golden brown.

In another pan, heat milk and bring it to a boil.

Add the roasted vermicelli to the milk and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until the vermicelli is cooked.

Add sugar and mix well until it dissolves completely.

Add cardamom powder, crushed cardamom, fried cashews, and raisins. Mix well.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes and turn off the heat.

Garnish with chopped almonds (optional).

Serve hot or cold.
