Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cans (15 ounces each) of baked beans
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.

Add the diced onion to the skillet and cook until softened and translucent.

In a slow cooker or a large pot, combine the cooked bacon, sautéed onion, baked beans, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.

Cook on low heat for 1 hour if using a slow cooker or simmer on the stovetop for 30 minutes.
